By combining readymade furniture from IKEA along with some custom table tops and cabinets in the right places, we were able to provide a smooth flow to the interior along with increased storage and a fun look. The focal point to this room was the large niche shown in the before picture on the "Wall Two" view. In order to fill the niche with lots of storage within the budget, we used a readymade IKEA wall unit in a light, maple wood veneer, and then filled the left over space with contrasting dark brown cabinets that matched the rest of the furniture in the room. This gave the company more storage as well as a custom built-in look for less than half the price of a custom built-in wall unit.
